X-Ray Courses Schedule

 

The Dental X-Ray course at Lake Norman Dental Assisting School consists of 7 hours of instruction in the production and use of Dental x-rays, 7 hours of clinical x-ray instruction, and a North Carolina State Board of Examiners approved Dental Radiology Exam. A radiology certificate of  compliance with the G.S.90-29c(12) will be awarded to those who attend all 14 hours of instruction and pass the Dental

 

Radiology written exam.

 

Radiology Course is held on Fridays & Saturdays, students are required to attend both days. Applicants must have 1 year of experience to attend.

January     23th  & 24th                 9am to 5pm

 

April          24th & 25th             9am to 5pm

 

July           24th & 25th             9am to 5pm

 

October    23th & 24th             9am to 5pm

 

All dates subject to change.

 

Tuition is  $600.00

A deposit of $300.00 is required with application.

 

 

Dental Radiography Course Description

 

Our weekend Radiology course includes:

 

7 Hours of instruction in the health, safety, production and use of dental radiographs.

 

7 Hours of clinical applications, taking and developing the radiograph in the traditional techniques.

 

Digital radiography is discussed during lecture and is not practiced in clinical applications in this course.

 

We are approved by the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners for the Dental Radiology exam.

 

Certification of achievement will be awarded to those who attend all 14 hours of instruction and pass the radiology exam.

 

The total cost for the course is $600.00 and we require a $300.00 deposit to hold your spot.

 

Our course is held on Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am through 5:00pm with an hour lunch.
